IMPORANT REGISTRATION INFORMATION / INSTRUCTIONS! Read before registering! Registration deadline is March 1st.
RESIDENCY / SCHOOL ENROLLMENT:
Your player does NOT need to reside in RPYA's Little League of America (LLA) district boundary nor attend a Mona Shores school in order to participate in RPYA's regular* season - this is open to everyone. If you get an error message from the registration system stating that your player is not eligible for RPYA based on your address, select "Mona Shores Schools" on the drop-down menu (even if your player does not attend Mona Shores) in order to complete your registration. (*In order to be eligible to be selected to a "RPYA State All-Star" team, your player must reside within RPYA's LLA district boundary or attend a Mona Shores School). Proof of Residence and School Enrollment documents are not required to register for the regular season - those documents will be collected separately at a later date if your player is selected to a "State All-Star" team.
HAT SIZE, JERSEY SIZE, and JERSEY NUMBER PREFERENCES:
New this year - you must provide this information at the time of registration. A hat size guide can be found below, and a jersey size guide can be found
here (jersey size chart). Starting in January, the actual hats and jerseys that we intend on ordering for the upcoming season (in all the sizes) will be on hand at Gov's Training Academy if you would like to stop in and try them on before registering. Gov's location and hours can be found at govstrainingacademy.com.
EARLY-BIRD DISCOUNT:
Registrations that are completed prior to February 1st will receive an Early-Bird Discount.
"NON-VOLUNTEER" FEE:
Our league is a non-profit that relies on volunteers to function. In order to encourage parents to volunteer (a variety of options are available), we are charging a $20 "non-volunteer" fee. This additional fee is waived for those that volunteer to coach, assistant coach, help with field improvements/maintenance, or staff the concession stand. MEDICAL RELEASES:
Medical releases do not need to be filled out/turned in at the time - you will provide those to your player's coach at the beginning of the season.
